1. Confirm the Joint and Material
Identify whether the application involves a dowel, mortise-and-tenon joint, rail-and-stile frame, edge joint or another cabinet structure. Confirm that both bonding surfaces are suitable for the selected wood adhesive.
2. Control Wood Moisture
Large moisture differences between cabinet components can cause dimensional movement, internal stress and joint opening. Timber should be conditioned for the intended manufacturing and service environment.
3. Prepare Clean Bonding Surfaces
